The Space
The “family casual” atmosphere inside Rubicon Pizza Bistro is perfectly suited to its location adjacent to the ice/roller skating rink in the heart of the Northstar Village.
 The Food
Rubicon is the sister restaurant to the award-winning Fireside Pizza Co. in Squaw Valley and the similarities show in upscale pizzas with original flavor combinations (like a BBQ pulled pork pizza). And while the pizzas are a highlight, the appetizers, gourmet salads and pasta dishes are all worth a try.
The Drinks
The friendly staff at the bar up front can make any cocktail you can think of, and the wine list features 20 bottles and 12 wines by the glass, most of them from California. And the pizza menu includes suggested wine pairings.
 Gotta Try
The signature Thai red curry pizza with yellow peppers, mascarpone cheese, fresh lime and cilantro — might just be the most surprisingly delicious item you’ll find in the area.

Curbside pick-up also available. Call ahead and they’ll run it out to your car.
Price Range
Appetizers and salads from $5 to $12; pizzas are $13 to $24.
