The Lodge is the cornerstone of our great community, providing a place to enjoy by yourself, or with friends for just an hour or for the entire evening. The multi-faceted nature of The Lodge provides a space that is enchanting to all of our guests. Hide from the summer sun and sip a glass of wine in The Grotto. Chat with your neighbor in The Pub. Marvel at the surrounding beauty while enjoying an appetizer on The Deck.
The Space The Lodge proudly boasts a refined architectural style that is fused perfectly with its environment. The building pays homage to timeless style, while incorporating contemporary details, creating a facility that embodies elegance. The distinguished interior of The Lodge looks out over the fresh, green grass of the Tahoe Donner Golf Course. During the summertime, the patios surrounding the restaurant are packed with recreational enthusiasts and folks looking to relax while enjoying one of the many menu offerings.
The Food The menu is diverse, with offerings changing seasonally. Chef Lewis Orlady has a knack for taking exotic ingredients and combining them into sophisticated comfort foods he calls “contemporary seasonal cuisine.” Each day a market special is offered for those who love seafood, such as the “roasted Alaskan halibut, with shitake crust, truffle-whipped potatoes, and basil vinaigrette.”
The Drinks A sixteen page, award-winning wine list will surely impress. With the diversity of our patrons in mind, it is The Lodge’s ultimate goal to provide selections that are varied and exciting, exuding quality for their particular style; while at the same time meeting the demand for value-orientation that the savvy wine drinker appreciates.
Gotta Try For a deliciously light and flavorful option, try the grilled Alaskan halibut taco. Served at lunch and dinner.
Tidbit The Lodge offers something for everyone. From happy hour to early bird specials, we know how to take care of our community. We also offer fantastic catering facilities and event spaces are available, but popular, so be sure to book your event well in advance.
Price Range Pub menu entrees from $7 to $15. Dinner entrees from $11 to $26.
Hours of Operation The Pub is open from 4 p.m. to close; the dining room from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 29 through Labor Day weekend, on The Deck and in The Pub.
