Court Leve will be hosting an opening at Tough Beanz, Truckee’s newest coffee shop located at 10015 Palisades Drive (Next to the Blue Coyote) on Thursday July 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. On display and for sale will be select scenic images from the Lake Tahoe/Truckee region. Images are currently on display and will remain up through the end of July.
On the evening of July 19, wine and appetizers will be offered by Uncorked, North Tahoe’s newest wine bar which features wine tastings, wine by the glass and a full selection of bottles in their Squaw Valley store or by visiting www.uncorkedatsquaw.com.
In addition, local musician Mike Fricke will be playing guitar. Mike is building a name for himself playing originals and covers at various local hot spots.
About the photographer:
 Court Leve was introduced to photography during high school, and although Court did not pursue his passion for photography immediately, he did keep active in the arts. While attending The American University in Washington, D.C., Court studied Art History and was deeply involved with the ceramics program. After leaving the University, Court spent several years working for a blacksmith artist in Jackson, WY before eventually moving to San Francisco, Calif. There, Court briefly turned away from the arts and focused on a career in Human Resource. After several years he decided it was time for a change, and he followed his desire to move back to the mountains this time landing in Truckee, Calif. Court spent several years as a photographer for the Tahoe World and Sierra Sun newspapers, where he won several awards, and he now works as a freelancer.
 Court’s images may also be seen in publications such as Warren Miller’s SnowWorld, ParadeMagazine, The New York Post, the Tahoe Quarterly, ISM, Sierra Heritage, The Weekly, Couloiur, Freeskier, Skiing, and The Ski Mag in Australia. Court’s list of clients include Squaw Valley USA,Sierra-at-Tahoe, Kombi Gloves, Canine Hardware, Spyder, Points North Heli-Adventuresand numerous other local businesses.
