The Space
The elegantly modern, softly lit dining room is terraced so that each table in the restaurant provides an unobstructed view of Lake Tahoe, and at the right time, breathtaking sunsets.

The Food
Executive Chef Jay Veregge cooks up seasonal regional food such as farm raised frog leg appetizers, wild foraged mushroom ravioli, and a Colorado elk chop like none you’ve ever had.

The Drinks
With a full bar, your imagination is the limit, but check out the key lime martini, blue margatini and pomagranate martini. Drink specialties are the Plantation Mai Tai and Big Water Rita. Also note the extensive wine list to pair with any dish.

Gotta Try
The roti of liberty duck breast with black fig-winter truffle spelt, sonoma foie grais, baby carrots vichy.

Tidbit
The Big Water Grille’s basement wine cellar doubles as an elegant private dining room for up to 16 people. Kids menu available.

Price Range
Entrées from $19 to $42.

Hours of Operation
The bar opens at 4:30 p.m. and the dining room at 5:30 p.m.
