Wednesday, July 9
• Going Buggy Craft Day. The Incline Village Library will host a “Going Buggy Craft Day” from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library. Participants will make a bumblebee and hive, cricket face mask, butterfly mobile, spider surprise card, and a ladybug hand puppet.

• Lake Tahoe Music Festival Tickets. Lake Tahoe Music Festival tempts music lovers with another season of diverse musical performances from Broadway to Bach and beyond, July 17 through Aug. 9. Tickets are on sale now, visit www.TahoeMusic.org.

• Wednesday Night Rides. Olympic Bike Shop in Tahoe City is hosting guided bike rides every Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. Meet at the shop. For more information, call (530) 581-2500.

Thursday, July 10
• Women’s Golf Clinic. Women’s and junior’s golf clinics are offered at the Resort at Squaw Creek every Thursday through August 28. The clinics, just $15, help develop participants’ short and long game via instruction. For more information, visit www.squawcreek.com

• Pedal There Thursdays. Ride your bike on Thursdays and receive many prizes and discounts at featured businesses and restaurants on the North Shore. Sign up at the Tahoe City Farmers Market every Thursday or for more information, call (530) 582-4800.

• Shakespeare Festival. The Festival (July 10-Aug. 17) offers two Shakespeare plays; “Richard III” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and the new original musical “Cambio.” For tickets and a schedule, visit www.laketahoeshakespeare.com

Friday, July 11
•  The Dynamic Forest Tour. Learn how a group of local citizens worked together, from the local library to the halls of Congress, to enact national forestry legislation. Visit sites on the Plumas National Forest and Sierra Pacific Industries' Quincy lumber mill and get an insider's view of the forest products industry. The cost is $40 per person. •  ARTour. Art aficionados will also enjoy the Tahoe ARTour Friday, July 11-13 and Friday, July 18-20, when 35 local artists throughout the region open their studios to the public in celebration of visual arts. The self-directed tour offers opportunities to meet participating artists in their working environment. Admission is free.
