“Mommy’s Day Off” at the Lone Eagle Grille Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino invites guests to treat moms this Mother’s Day with a bit of peace and quiet. The celebratory Sunday event at the award-winning Lone Eagle Grille features a special “Mommy’s Day Off” area with interactive crafts and art projects, fun videos and a tyke-sized kids buffet, providing moms the much-deserved opportunity to enjoy their special day with Lone Eagle’s buffet.
The buffet, will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature a vast selection of dishes to please every palate. The price of the buffet is $70 for adults, $35 for children under 12, (not including tax or gratuity). Children under the age of four dine free of charge from the children’s buffet. In addition, guests will enjoy live entertainment and complimentary valet parking.

Mother’s Day at Jake’s on the Lake Jake’s On the Lake pays homage to Mother’s Day with a tasty mix of flavors and celebration. On Sunday, May 11 the lakefront eatery treats mom with an expanded lunch menu full of special delights. In addition to its traditional array of sandwiches, burgers and salads, executive chef Scott Yorkey and staff have added mouth watering brunch items such as crepes, omelets, French Toast, Chicken Apple Sausage and eggs and flavorful seafood dishes. Mother’s Day Brunch at the Resort at Squaw Creek Chef Jacques Cornelis will prepare an exceptional brunch starting at 11 a.m. at Six Peaks Grill, located at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Squaw Valley. Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, to fight breast cancer. Also, for the first time, guests will literally be invited into the kitchen, where they can see the culinary team in action, interact with the chefs and order from a selection a la carte menu entrees. It’s called the “open kitchen.” The Mother’s Day Brunch runs $48 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Additionally, a “Spa and Brunch” option is offered; combining the “open kitchen” brunch with a 50-minute massage, facial or body treatment.
