Thanks to Dragonfly’s owner/chef Billy McCullough, a fun evening out with friends and family on Wednesday, April 9, will include contributions to the Tahoe Maritime Museum at no extra cost for the diner.

10 percent of proceeds from the evening directly benefit the Tahoe Maritime Museum, a unique cultural, educational and social gathering place that opens on May 24 in Homewood.

“As we gear up for our grand opening (of the Maritime Museum) on May 24, this event is an incredible way for locals to support locals by enjoying a night out with friends over superb food,” Nicole Cheslock, Director of Education and Outreach for the Tahoe Maritime Museum said.

“We’re really proud that Billy chose to support the Tahoe Maritime Museum and we are happy to support the restaurant.”

The evening offers dinners the chance to see a sneak preview of the new Museum and provides people with the opportunity to be entered into a raffle for an annual membership to the Museum. With the membership, valued at $100, the winner also receives a complementary boat ride on Miss Tahoe, a 1939 triple cockpit Gar Wood once owned by Jake Obexer.

Dragonfly’s menu offers an array of tantalizing dishes from tasty appetizers to soups, salads, entreés and desserts. Dragonfly’s Sushi Bar opens at 4 p.m. and service for the dinner menu begins at 5 p.m. Dragonfly is located in historic Truckee at 10118 Donner Pass Rd. View the menu at www.dragonflycuisine.com.
