There will be different age categories to see who can eat the most ice cream. Sponsored by the Stohlgren Brothers’.
Jim Stohlgren said that the contest is a great time and is an event for all ages. Come try and eat as much ice cream as you can in the shortest amount of time. The ice cream is served in 3 ounce Dixie Cups full of vanilla ice cream. There are different divisions according to ages.
Jim remembered the time he entered into the contest and says he thinks everyone should try competiting at least once in their life, he probably will never do it again. He ate more than 19, 3 ounce cups of ice cream in a little over than a minute.
"I was just squeezing the ice cream out of the cups into my mouth. I couldn't feel anything, ended up biting my tounge and it started bleeding so people thought I was eating strawberry ice cream. It was fun and I think people should come out and at least watch."
