With so much music to see at Squaw this weekend, concert goers had trouble deciding which band to see.
Kicking off the 48Straight Music Festival in the Basecamp tent was California alt-rock group Rock Kills Kid which warmed up the crowd for Philadelphia hip-hop group The Roots.
With a full tent and plenty of folks outside looking for last-minute tickets, the Basecamp tent was certainly going off.
And when The Roots finished up, the music really got started, with three shows in the Olympic House to choose from as well as a retro disco/funk party over at OVL with Sweet Polyester & The Platforms.
The next night it was time for Pato Banton & Mystic Roots to get the afternoon off to a good start with a 3 p.m. show on the deck outside the Olympic House, then Dinosaur Jr. and Pepper rocked the crowd in the Basecamp pavilion.
Late-night shows on Saturday included a DJ set by The Crystal Method and another great DJ — DJ Vadim — backing the Soundcatcher Soundsystem in Zenbu.
