The Space Sunnyside’s Lakeside Dining Room is famous for its panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Rich wood paneling accents the tables and booths of this warm, inviting space. In the summer months, lunch and dinner are also served on the area’s largest lake-front deck.
The Food The menu centers around steaks and chops, featuring prime and Certified Angus® beef. In addition to steakhouse fare, you will find fresh seafood and a selection of soups, salads and starters. The lively Mountain Grill serves everything from burgers and fish tacos to famous zucchini sticks and mai tais.
The Drinks For over 20 years Jeff “Ox” Oxandaboure, Sunnyside’s managing partner, has been exploring the Napa and Sonoma valleys in search of rich and full-bodied wines. These selections are unique, distinctive in flavor, limited in supply, and the perfect complement to the varied menu.
Gotta Try Few things in life are better than a simply prepared USDA Prime steak, whether a tender filet mignon or flavorful ribeye. Chef Kresy’s Best of Market entrees offer creative preparations of each day’s freshest seafood. Save room for a decadent slice of Kimo’s world-famous Hula Pie for dessert.
Price Range Dining room from $24 to $35. Mountain Grill from $6 to $15.
Hours of Operation Open 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. seven days a week. Mountain Grill open 4 to 9:30 p.m.
