Although spectacular views of Tahoe are masterstroke among its charms, Jake’s on the Lake is a sophisticated full service restaurant that leverages its location by offering inspired food. Jake’s welcoming bar and lounge offers a warren of pub life, café menu and live entertainment.
The Space Huge timbers, a warming fireplace, and seductive trappings create an atmosphere that is part beach house, part mountain lodge.
The Food Jake’s menu emphasizes both texture and taste, setting a tone for down-scale mainstays that embodies food as fun. Chef Scott Yorkey’s signature dishes include Dijon Herb New Zealand Rack of Lamb, fresh fish Wellington and Tenderloin of Beef Tournedos.
The Drinks Jake’s boasts a unique Mai Tai recipe, as well as an extensive wine list.

Tidbit Jake's landmark lounge shakes up every Friday and Saturday evening with live music. Alpenglow dinners, a three-course, price fix menu for $26. Served 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, except holidays.
Price Range Entrees range from $15 to $28.
Hours of Operation Lunch on weekends at 11:30 a.m. Bar at 4:30 p.m., dining room at 5:30 p.m. daily. Happy hour 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. nightly except Saturdays and holidays. Open for lunch and dinner daily for the Christmas holiday.
