Kids Out of School for the Holidays? Looking for Something Fun and Educational To Do as a Family?
Dates: Dec. 26 – 28 and Jan. 2 – 3 Time: 1 to 5 p.m. Cost: Free Location: First Floor Education Center and Assembly Rooms 139 & 141, Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences, 291 Country Club Drive, Incline Village, Nevada (on the campus of Sierra Nevada College)
The UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) will host free family science activity days from 1 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 26 – 28 and Jan. 2 – 3 at the Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences on the Sierra Nevada College Campus in Incline Village.
Visitors and locals alike are encouraged to bring their families (school age children) for daily hands-on educational activities, a 3-D visualization lab, educational movies, tours of the center and more. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Special Holiday Hours During the holiday period, the UC Davis Thomas J. Long Foundation Education Center will have special holiday hours. The Education Center will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1. Doors will be open during the afternoons only from 1 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 26-28 and Jan. 2-3.
