Not your average four-corner crit, the Downtown Truckee Criterium is a “just-short-of-a-mile” course through the streets of a historic mountain town.
For 60 minutes, racers negotiated a challenging maze including a wicked S-turn through charming brick buildings, rag tag ski bums, dotcom transplants and wanna-rural dwellers looking for a mountain retreat.
A party thrown in the middle of it all, complete with all the food, booze and babes you’d expect from a summer’s finally here free for all.
