With temperatures getting up above 80 degrees (when it’s not snowing, that is) often enough these days, Tahoe locals can be seen walking around in flip-flops and shorts more often than not.
And while we’ve done a number of fashion features in which we’ve asked the so-called experts — typically buyers at local clothing boutiques — what they think will be “in style” in the coming season, this time we decided to turn the table and get a bunch of normal Tahoe folks to model their favorite summer outfits for our cameras.
As you’ll see on these pages, the results are diverse. Just like Tahoe.
So what should you wear this summer?
 I guess the lesson learned from these locals is that it should be comfortable, unique, and reflect your character.
