Chick lit(erature) always tempts readers with fantasies of torrid Spring Flings with cabana boys and the like during this time of year. But it seems that in the celebrity world spring has sprung not with love but breakups instead.
Edward Scissorhands’ twin brother, John Mayer, has dumped the busty blonde-turned-brunette, Jessica Simpson. No offense, John, but why would you dare break up with a girl who is soooo out of your league? She may think tunafish is poultry and have larger breasts than she does a brain, but regardless of what anybody says about Miss Simpson’s IQ or talent, she certainly looks good in those Daisy Dukes.
Also staying at Heartbreak Hotel is Denise Richards. Again. She and rocker Richie Sambora broke up a few months ago and just released the split to the press. Again, hot female sporting a not-so-hot crooner. What is it with musicians?
Other examples of some sorry looking fellows and their bombshell accessories:
• Steven Tyler: He had “relations” with a model in the 1970s producing the beautiful Liv Tyler
• Jay-Z: He’s got one of the hottest girls in music wearing his chain ‘round her neck, the bootylicious Beyoncé
• David Bowie: His second-wife is Somalian-born supermodel Iman
• Lyle Lovett: He was once in the throes of passion with1990s American Sweetheart, Julia Roberts
• Pete Doherty: Singer/songwriter for British band Babayshambles (who’s ever heard of them?) and frequent tabloid character for infamous drug use and roller coaster relations with supermodel Kate Moss
• Mick Jagger: This Rolling Stones front man has been linked to a plethora of pretty ponies, including but not limited to: Carly Simon, Uma Thurman, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford.
