A gian otter born in the Philadelphia Zoo earlier this winter, and its mother, will be flown to Lake Tahoe this spring in an effort to track the legendary Tahoe Tessie.

"Tessie has been eluding us for too long," said I. Ron Butterfly, a leading scientist loosely associated with the UC Davis Research Center in Incline Village. "Soon we'll know Tessie's feeding habits, what exactly Tessie is, and whether or not Tessie knows the answer to the question 'Who will win this season's Survivor: Fiji?'"
