Excellence in Education Golfing for Schools Cards Go On-Sale April 14th
Treat yourself to a summer of golf and help fund quality education in the process. The Excellence in Education’s 2007 Golfing for Schools card will go on sale on April 14th at all three Porters locations (Tahoe City, Truckee, and Incline Village).
Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit local public education programs through the Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation. The transferable passes will sell for only $400.00 and each provide 18 holes of play at eight premiere North Tahoe and Truckee area golf courses.
There is a purchasing limit of eight cards per person. Golf courses honoring the card include: Coyote Moon, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Ponderosa Golf Course, Old Brockway Golf Course, Old Greenwood, Resort at Squaw Creek, Tahoe City Golf Course and Tahoe Donner Golf Course. Some restrictions do apply; see the card for details. Call the Excellence in Education office at 530-550-7984 for further information or check online at www.exined.org.
Show your support for local schools today and hit the links this summer. There are a limited number of passes available and they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Purchasing limit of eight cards per person. Cash or check payment preferred.
The Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation supports quality education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. The non-profit foundation raises money and provides grants, resources and partnerships to benefit students and teachers grades K through 12.
