 All you mind readers out there probably already know this, but for those of you that don’t, the Reno Psychic and Creative Arts Fair is happening this weekend, so if you’re still trying to figure out whether that guy who bought you four tequila shots last Thursday is going to call, you might want to show up.
Of course, even I can already tell you, without even having met you, that if you yaked up those shots on his favorite jeans, he’s definitely not going to call.
But anyway, that’s not the point. The point is that this semi-annual spirit fest is not to be missed. It’s been going on for 12 years and it just keeps growing.
Sponsored by the Reno Psychic Institute and produced by the Church of Inner Light, the fair will include aura readings, energy healing, trancemediumship, tarot, palmistry, angels, spirit guides, aura photography, alternative health and healing, reiki, massage, shaitsu, and a partridge in a pear tree.
There will also be workshops, seminars and live entertainment. As if having your future told isn’t entertaining enough.
“A lot of different healing goes on,” said institute founder and director Laura Peppard. “It’s a different vibration and I think that you just have to experience it.”
Nearly 70 readers and healers will be on site to meet a variety of spiritual needs and requests.
“People come back each year because it is very helpful for them; there is a healing aspect to it,” Peppard said. “For a reading, the best thing to do is just circulate around and see who appeals to you; maybe try two or three different ones.”
