Lake Tahoe is a hotbed for thrill seekers in search of the adventure sports to get their adrenaline fill after the snow melts. Now, vacationers, adventure-seekers and anyone who enjoys trying something new and unique can experience the incomparable thrill of the flying trapeze at Squaw Valley USA.
Flying trapeze attracts all kinds of people with all levels of athletic ability. It’s great fun for families. Forty-year-old Sarah Sweedler of San Francisco took her first trapeze flight during a birthday party. After mastering the knee-hang, which is the first trick every flier learns, Sarah felt exhilarated. “It was so much fun, I didn’t want to stop, I kept saying, ‘just one more turn,’” Sarah said. “I was at a children’s birthday party and I was having as much fun as any child there.”
Squaw Valley is the ideal setting for flying trapeze classes. You can soar in an environment that is not only breathtaking, but fun and supportive as well. Trapeze Arts’ Flying Trapeze Summer Season will run from June 24 through September 4. The Flying Trapeze is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Flying trapeze classes make great birthday parties, wedding parties, bachelor parties, company events/picnics and corporate team experiences.
The Flying Trapeze is located Squaw’s preferred parking structure on the mountain side of the Village at Squaw, next to the Red Wolf Lodge. For more information please contact Lili Gaudreau by phone at 866-4FlyFun (866-435-9386) or by email at
