 Road closure information
Truckee Criterium on June 22
The start/finish line is on Donner Pass Rd. in downtown Truckee. The bike races will start at 5:30 and end at 7:30 p.m. Donner Pass Road between Bridge Street and Spring Street will be closed to parking and traffic from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Vehicle access along the rest of the course will be restricted from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as indicated below:

Jibboom Street between Spring & Bridge Street
Bridge Sreet between Jibboom & Church
Church Street between Bridge & Donner Pass Road
Donner Pass Road between Church & Bridge
Tahoe Road Race on June 23
The start/finish line is on Highway 28 above Commons Beach. The Tahoe Road Race begins at noon in Tahoe City and heads North East on Highway 28 to Kings Beach where riders will turn left onto Highway 267. The race will proceed over Brockway Summit to Brockway Road in Truckee where riders will take West River Street to Highway 89 south. Riders will continue to Tahoe City where they will turn left onto Highway 28 and repeat the course two more times for a total of three laps, 108 miles.
Each lap will take about an hour and a half. The race will end at approximately 4:30 p.m. The CHP will conduct a rolling closure along the course in the direction of the race. Traffic delays should be expected on each of these sections.
Traffic on Highway 28 between Highway 89 and Commons Beach will be restricted from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Traffic will be re-routed to Fairway Drive and Grove Street. Limited access to the race course will be granted to those with special needs.
