If ever there was Spring Fever, the new technological upgrades at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino could be considered a surefire remedy for sports enthusiasts seeking a inspiring new way to view their can’t-miss games.

Last week, Cutthroat’s Saloon, Casino Bar and Sports Bar received some new, state-of-the-art updates that will have athletics junkies’ heads spinning. The five-day project involved the installation of 28 new 1080p High Definition Televisions complete with DirecTV access, providing  an incredibly comprehensive line-up of sporting events broadcast from across the nation.

The Casino Bar has received two (2) 60" 1080p Plasma HDTV's; the Sports Bar (in the casino) now boasts an impressive (12) 42" 1080p LCD HDTV's; and, Cutthroats Saloon will satiate even the worst attention deficiency with (12) 42" 1080p LCD HDTV's and (2) 60" 1080p Plasma HDTV's.  This new system will provide viewers the best possible picture available in TV today.

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort hosts an impressive line-up of complete sports packages including NFL, MLB, NHL, and the Soccer Channel. Friday and Saturday evenings feature local bands performing live music beginning at 10 p.m., with performances becoming more frequent during the summer months.

To make a visit even more enticing, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort’s happy hour raises the bar with drink and appetizer specials from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Salty and crunchy bar favorites are available for very little green; the menu changes frequently and highlights may include $4 pizzas, $3 “baby nachos,” $2 herb & cheese bread, and, $3 chips and cheese, among other indulgences.

Refreshments are equally well-priced with Budweiser labels for $2, premium pints at $3, well cocktails at $4, and house wines at $3. Or, opt for “A Beer And A Bump” — a glass of beer paired with a shot of Jägermeister or Rumplemintz – a bargain at $6.
