As long as there is snow on the ground there’s still time to enter the Tahoe World’s Line Of The Month photo contest. The contest has been running since the first snowfall.
Our first winner was Aaron Rosen for the Line of the Month in December. Rosen has submitted two different photos with the same style of a continuous shot of a skier in the air. Rosen won a gift certificate to T's Rotisserie, in Incline Village.
Greg Martin of GP Martin Photography won for the month of January with his shot capturing a great powder day.
Porters Sports employee Aaron Gaines snapped snowboarder Mark Cernosia as he jumped off the roof at Porters in Tahoe City on Feb. 3. Aaron's shot took the cake for the month of February.
The Line of the Month for March goes to photographer Chris Little for this photo of Tyler Boutelle skiing on St. Patrick’s Day at Squaw. Little will recieve a gift certificate to Jake's on the Lake restaurant in Tahoe City. (photo is shown above
The contest continues: We are looking for still photos or video capturing skiers and snowboarders out on the mountain having a great time, making some turns, straight lining a gnarly chute, or hucking their meat.
Each month one photo or video will be selected by the Tahoe World staff and will be published in the paper with photo credit. The winner will receive a delicious prize at participating restaurants. Winner Chris Little wins a generous gift certificate to Jake’s on the Lake for his entry featuring skier Tyler Boutelle.
