The big name night shows at the Basecamp Pavilion aren’t the only thing going on during the 48Straight tour at Squaw Valley this weekend. Besides the rocking on-hill competitions and award ceremonies, fun daytime events include environmental expos throughout the village, some great après ski events and a fashion show at the PlumpJack Conference Center.
Friday, Feb. 8

The whole, nation-wide 48Straight event is Jeep’s environmental promotion tour and each day in the Village check out their exposition area with information tables, games, and prizes. Check out 48Straight tour sponsor tables including Crocs, Monster Energy Drink, Spyder, Bula Hats, Rossingol and Surefoot as well as local environmental groups.
Saturday, Feb. 9

Check out this afternoon of fun with live music and entertainment of all kinds. Check out the Mighty Mite Rail Jam, live music and wandering entertainers including flame-throwers and ice carvers.

While there is enough music and on-snow action at the 48Straight Squaw Valley event to keep you busy all weekend, the tour will also be bringing the hottest winter fashions to the PlumpJack Conference Center on Saturday, Feb. 9.
Expect to see a range of international winter fashions from some of the biggest designers in the industry modeled by professional models, the 48Straight Snow Angels and some beautiful locals who know how to work the crowd. A DJ will be on hand keeping the energy high as the models strut their stuff on the raised runway. The fashion show is free and a cash bar will be available.

Plaza Bar Après Ski Concert

Pato Banton and Mystic Roots will play a free après ski set to warm up for their evening performance in Bar One.
