When the balls stopped flying and the crowd stopped screaming, the results of the second annual Lake Tahoe Dodgeball Tournament at the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe were awesome. Tournament results:
Championship Team: Back in Black (from North Shore) - Team Captain Ben Visnyei
Winner of the Biggest Loser Bracket: Balcuzzi (from San Luis Obispo)- Team Captain PJ Woolridge
Winner of the Spirit Award: Tube Sock Terrors (from Truckee) – Team Captain Jason Berger
Winner of the Get your Money’s Worth Award: Tube Sock Terrors
By the numbers: Total number of teams: 19 Total number of players: 155 Total number of face shots: 16 Total number of wigs worn: 15 Total number of all girls teams: 2 Total number of cross dressers: 4 Total number of sore bodies on Saturday morning: 155
Total money raised: $4,500.
Where the money went: The Boys and Girls Club picked four families to support for the holidays with the money raised. They will buy them food, presents, basic necessities, etc. (around $300/family). All other money will go towards Boys and Girls Club programs.
