Good wine and good company
The Pacific Crest Grill is celebrating the holidays by presenting a night of wine tastings on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m., as an introduction to organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines. In the holiday spirit, a suggested donation of $10 at the door will be collected for the Truckee Community Christmas, a non-profit umbrella organization that coordinates toy drives, food drives and coat donations during the holiday season.
Dinner at Pacific Crest Grill is served nightly from 5:30 p.m. to close; lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Alpenglow dinners
Jake’s on the Lake presents Alpenglow Dinners. Valid Sunday through Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the dinner special features a three-course offering, for $26 per person ($32 with a glass of premium wine).
Celebrating its 29th season, Jake’s On the Lake is located at 780 North Lake Boulevard in the Tahoe City Boatworks Mall. Jake’s offers food and drink specials from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. nightly except Saturdays and holiday periods. Jake’s landmark lounge shakes up every Friday and Saturday nights with live music beginning at 7 p.m.

Monday Night Football at Crosby’s
Diamond Peak is teaming up with Crosby’s to celebrate Monday Night Football. Every Monday night there will be a raffle and giveaways during the football game. Weekly giveaways include Diamond Peak mugs, lift tickets and T-shirts. After the game all raffle tickets will go back into a main pot for a gigantic raffle on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 3, 2008). For every drink that you purchase at Crosby’s, you’ll receive a raffle ticket to put into the pot.

Half-price sushi for ladies on Monday nights at Dragonfly
In celebration of all things non-NFL, Dragonfly will be offering an alternative to the traditional Monday Night Football festivities. For ladies only, Dragonfly will offer half-priced sushi all night long. The menu features choice selections from Dragonfly’s unrivaled sushi menu.
