Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and their elves will be on hand for the annual Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 5 from 5-7 p.m.
Winter festivities include:
- Free sleigh/carriage rides from Borges Sleigh and Carriage Rides.
- Music by Derek Tarpey, Lake DJ, and carols sung by Tahoe Elementary and Intermediate Schools Honor Choir.
- Complimentary hot chocolate, cider and cookies. Popcorn available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care.
- Food and Toy drive – please bring donations for “Christmas Cheer”.
- Santa will be available for picture taking – please be certain to bring your own camera.
